Another picture from what I call the Taos Garden, altitude 8300 feet on Upper El Salto above Arroyo Seco and Taos Pueblo. This rose was an amazingly deep red and had the texture of red velvet. The photograph became known as "Sherry's Rose"; a gift to my sister.
