The BLOC is a mixed use urban development in the heart of downtown Los Angeles which occupies an entire city block between South Flower Street and South Hope Street and W. 8th Street and 7th Street. This view, on 8th Street side shows the black and white graffiti-like mural (by LA-based Sumi Ink Club) above the delivery and parking entrances for the building between South Flower Street and South Hope Street. Anchoring the Flower & 7th Street corner is Macy's with the Sheraton at the corner of 7th Street & Hope. In December 2014 when this photograph was taken, much of the interior was under construction. The BLOC is due to be revealed in late 2015.
